Great classic Quebecois style diner with good prices. Fresh juicy burgers, awesome poutine with cantine style fries. The only thing I would say is don't order a chicken poutine, it will be dry, tasteless and maybe even cold. But the chicken they use for the pita is the complete opposite. Juicy and tasty. The waitresses are great and will yell at the kitchen if they mess up your order . Old school vibe and great food with old school prices.
Been coming to this place since 1993. Was my go to restaurant in the neighborhood. I remember when I couldn't reach the counter. They would always offer me a lollipop and a free hot dog. Top quality pizza. They use Saputo cheese and new Milano pepperoni. Great quality ingredients top quality poutines as well. I've had everything on the menu. I love their food options. Portions are generous. Great quality. Great customer service. I haven't been in the neighborhood for the last 5 years. Hopefully I can make it down and see some familiar faces. See you guys soon!.
This right here is an establishment, you look upon the unending tides of mediocre eateries and realize this place is unique. One of the few that stand above the rest. I suggest dining in, get your smoked meat, your greek wraps and brochettes, poutines, burgers, pizzas, whatever your poison and pay to this day reasonable prices for unreasonable proportions. I stand here amongst you all, praying we can all have a local deli in the neighbourhood serving up classics the good ol fashioned way. But for today, you just might have to come visit this one.
i love this deli i have going there for over 40 years when it was katou it has gotten better the best pizza in montreal and what can i say about there sub there pita smoked meat its just wow
I went several time with friends and family. The price is cheap !! We are for 24 my husband and I. Very agreeable staff. We enjoy going for breakfast on weekends.
Only for the poutine: If you want to eat a good traditional poutine outside of Downtown or Plateau Mont-Royal, it's the best place in the area! Good for dine-in, take-out or delivery!
Very good poutine (a lot of toppings and tasty fries, only if you like soft fries!) Pizza : very good crust and they are really generous with the toppings. Cheap prices for amazing foods :)
it aint trying to reinvent the wheel. Its a diner style restaurant service food you would expect. Is it the most amazing food no but it was always good and satisfying. Staff is amazing. if you dont feel like fancy restaurant this is a good one to go.
